Amid Surging Growth, Prospero Health to Relocate Operational Headquarters, Remain in Downtown Memphis
October 25, 2021
Memphis, Tenn. – Prospero Health will expand its investment in downtown Memphis by relocating to 50 South B.B. King Boulevard. Michael Scarbrough, Prospero’s co-Founder, President, and Chief Operating Officer, made the announcement.
Currently occupants of two floors and over 28,000 square feet at 40 South Main Street in downtown Memphis, Prospero, a home-based medical care company, will shift its growing operational headquarters into more space just a few blocks away. The move is planned for early 2022 and signals a surge in Prospero’s workforce as well as a continuing need to support patients from coast to coast. Prospero launched in January 2020, with its clinical care teams serving 1,700 patients in three Northeast states. Currently, its clinical care teams serve 17,000 patients in 26 states.
Prospero’s presence in Memphis includes a Care Support Center, as well as significant back-office operations that support teams of physicians, nurses, and social workers across those 26 markets.
“As Prospero has grown, we have done so confidently, because there is an abundance of talent in Memphis to support that growth,” Scarbrough noted. “We are thrilled to be in a position to base our operations at 50 South B.B. King Boulevard and we are fortunate to be able to provide attractive job opportunities for even more skilled and dedicated Memphians.”

“Our teams of doctors, nurses, and social workers treat people where they are most comfortable – in the home – and that type of care is meaningful not only for patients and families, but also for people who join the Prospero family. Our mission is about service, and through our ongoing and inspiring relationships with the University of Memphis, the University of Memphis Research Foundation Research Park, and the Greater Memphis Chamber of Commerce, we have positioned ourselves to expand and attract people who believe in what we do.”
